Eco-storytelling - Your story can change our planet’s future
Storytelling can be an incredibly powerful tool, especially when in the hands of those seeking to change the world around them.
During COP26, we’ve partnered with Restless Development to support five Youth Power Climate Reps. We’ve hosted a session on Eco-storytelling to help young activists own their stories while changing the planet’s future. There was big interest in the session and it was a great opportunity to connect with so many of you across the world who want to make a difference.
As part of the session, our Youth Power Climate Reps shared their own stories both in spoken and written form. We looked at their written stories to explore what makes a powerful story and how to inspire others to work on their own narratives to make a change.
Our team also presented a brief introduction to storytelling and the questions to answer when working on your own story of change.
If you missed the session, you can check out the recording here.
We’re hoping you’ll be inspired by their stories as much as we did!
Keep an eye on our channels as there will be more similar sessions in the future.

Since we first started Lightful many years ago – from the kernel of an idea that has now evolved to an exceptional team delivering exceptional work – we have always stated that technology can and must act as a ‘force for good’. Articulating what that means in practice is not straightforward, yet it is something we have been hard at work on for some time now.
