Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving, which takes place after the consumer excess of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year, as a response to Coronavirus, they launched #GivingTuesdayNow – a global day of unity “where we can all come together to recognise, celebrate and give thanks for the incredible outpouring of compassion we have witnessed during this crisis.” It took place on Tuesday 5 May and trended all day on Twitter.
We’ve had a fantastic webinar this week inviting @GivingTuesday and @GivingTuesdayUK to talk about #GivingTuesdayNow and how charities and individuals can join the day.

In the UK it always trends all day long on Twitter and this year over 2,000 charities have signed up to take part. So how can you get involved?
Giving Tuesday 2018 is fast approaching and it’s time to start planning the goals and content for your campaign. It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of your cause, recruit volunteers or ask for donations, on a day where everyone is feeling generous and is inspired to get involved.
